The SWEDSPAN Group was created in May 2008 with the goal of ensuring the long-term growth of IKEA's furniture business by providing IKEA's furniture suppliers with innovative Lightweight and Low-Emission-Boards at very competitive prices. SWEDSPAN is therefore building up panel board production capacities, and investing in R&D with an emphasis on lightweight and low emission technologies – SWEDSPAN has already acquired an initial production site in Lithuania in December 2008. SWEDSPAN has also been responsible for panel board plants in Sweden and Slovakia since September 2009. The project team for a new site in Poland is established.
Background for vacancies
You should have a university degree or equivalent in technology or industrial engineering. You have several years experience in planning, leading and carrying out comprehensive factory projects or relevant experience in R&D. You are used to working in an international environment, have the ability to build and lead a dedicated team, and are fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of any eastern European language is an advantage.
